The Alabama Community College System (ACCS) is comprised of 24 community and technical colleges within the state of Alabama. In order to better serve the students within the system, a shared identity or credential has been created to access the shared resources and applications available to our users.

Previously, a student or faculty member may have had multiple accounts tied to institution(s) at which they had been admitted or employed. Those accounts are being replaced with a single @alabama.edu account to access most applications and systems as we move forward.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• The new username (for Alabama.edu) is the A# (student/employee ID associated with their record) + “@alabama.edu”
  
• If your A# (same across all institutions) is A00000000, then your Alabama.edu username is [email protected]
  
• The username isn’t case sensitive and is the default email address for your account as well. If you already have email addresses assigned to you by an institution, then those will still continue to be delivered to your new inbox.
